Grownupism!
1Day, When I Grow Up!

So, as usual, I wuz sittin’ an’ stinkin’ ’bout lotsa nothin’ an’ sum sumthin’ in partiklar.
As usual, the dragon-teecher had a lot to do with my sumthin’ in partiklar thinkin’!
She had alla us look at T.V. ’bout young kidz shootin’ each other.
For reel!! Totally yukky stuff!
We were s’posed to look at T.V. atta special program an’ then write ’bout it an’ discuss it in klass!
I gotta admit! The program wuz scary!
Teenagers shootin’ at other teenagers an’ not only shootin’ at ‘em, but killin’ ‘em, too!
At least two peeple ev’ry week or two!
An’ ’bout 20 sum kidz were already dead!
An’ nobody seem to have an idea how to stop this killin’ peeple stuff!
The gunshop owner, who wuz makin’ lottsa money sed, “The guns don’t shoot without help from some people pulling the triggers!”
Wow, the guy’s a filosopher!
I meen, the guy is right, but on the other hand, peeple couldn’t pull triggers on guns, that weren’t even there!
No gun, no trigger, no shootin’, no killin’!
Like 2+2 equals 4!
Even the skool supertendent sed on T.V., “if these murders were happening in other neighborhoods, where wealthier people lived, some sort of response or solution would have been thought of and implemented to deal with the problem, a long time ago.” Wow, I thought - it looks like kinda “just us” for sum peeple an’ another justice for the peeple with Hilton money?
So then, I thought, that statue I see blindfolded with a scale in her hand, mus’ be peekin’ from behin’ the eye cover to see who is poor an’ who is rich an’ then makin’ her decision on who gits whut an’ for how long or how short!?
Nothin’ even-handed here, jes who’s in the driver’s seet an’ who’s not!?
So in other words, to have lottsa money meens to live in a wurl seperate an’ safer than peeple who don’t have money!?
Man, as I’m growin’ up, I’m startin’ to see things a lot diferent than I saw them wen I wuz a kid!
I guess that’s wut granma meens wen she talks ’bout “the people need to take off their rose colored glasses and see the world for what it really is!”
I think rose colored goggles is for money peeple an’ bare-eyed is for poor peeple!
I think I’m beginnin’ to unnerstan’ how the wurl reely works!
Tomorrow, I’m gonna write all this stuff down for the dragon-teecher an’ see wut she says?
I hope she’s gonna luv it, ’cause I think I’m on the rite track an’ plus after all this watchin’ horror T.V. murder reality flicks, I shuld git sum great resultz!
All this sittin’ an’ stinkin’ an’ watchin’ T.V. is eshaostin’ -

Erwachsensein!
Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!

Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz’n und Stink’n üba ‘ne Menge Nichts und ‘n bißchen Etwas im Besonderen.
Wie üblich hatte die Drachenlehrerin ‘ne Menge mit mei’m üba Etwas im Besonderen Nachdenk’n zu tun!
Sie ließ uns alle fernseh’n üba kleine Kinder, die sich gegenseitig beschieß’n.
In echt!! Total ekliger Kram!
Wir sollt’n Fernsehen guck’n. Ein spezielles Programm und dann drüba schreib’n und inner Klasse diskutier’n!
Ich muss zugeb’n, das Programm war zum Fürcht’n!
Teenager, die auf and’re Teenager schieß’n, und nich’ nur schieß’n, sondern sie auch töt’n!
Mindestens zwei Leute jede Woche oder jede zweite!
Und irgendwas bei 20 Kinder war’n schon tot!
Und niemand scheint ‘ne Idee zu hab’n, wie man dieses Leutetötenzeugs stopp’n könnte!
Der Waffenladenbesitzer, der ‘ne Menge Geld gemacht hat, sagte: “Die Pistolen schießen nicht ohne Hilfe von einigen Leuten, die den Abzug drücken!”
Wow, der Typ is’ ‘n Philosoph!
Ich denk, der Typ hat recht, aber and’rerseits könnt’n die Leute keine Abzüge an Pistolen abdrück’n, die nich’ ma’ da wär’n!
Keine Pistole, kein Abzug, kein Schieß’n, kein Töt’n!
Wie 2+2 ist gleich 4!
Sogar der Schulrat sagte im Fernsehen: “Wenn diese Morde in einer anderen Nachbarschaft geschehen wären, in der wohlhabendere Leute wohnten, hätte man über irgendeine Reaktion oder Lösung nachgedacht und diese umgesetzt, um mit dem Problem fertig zu werden. Und das vor längerer Zeit.”
Wow, dacht ich - das sieht aus wie’n Gesetz für einige Menschen und ‘ne and’re Gerechtigkeit für Menschen mit Hiltongeld?
Also dann, dacht ich, muss diese Statue mit der Augenbinde, die ich kenn, mit ‘ner Waage in ihrer Hand an der Seite ihrer Binde durchspiek’n, um zu seh’n, wer arm is’ und wer reich, und dann entscheid’n, wer was bekommt und für wie lange oder wie kurz!?
Nichts gleichmäßig verteilt hier, einfach danach, wer auf’m Fahrersitz is’ und wer nich’!? Also mit and’ren Worten, ‘ne Menge Geld zu hab’n bedeutet, in einer getrennten Welt und sicherer zu leb’n als Menschen, die kein Geld hab’n!?
Mann, wie ich so erwachsen werd, fang ich an, die Dinge ganz anders zu seh’n, als ich sie als Kind geseh’n hab!
Ich glaub, das is’ es, was Oma meint, wenn sie sagt: “Die Leute müssen ihre rosarote Brille abnehmen und die Welt so sehen, wie sie wirklich ist.”
Ich glaub rosarote Schutzbrillen sind für Geldmenschen und ohne Gläser is für arme Menschen! Ich denk, ich beginn zu vasteh’n, wie die Welt wirklich funktioniert!
Morgen schreib ich diesen ganzen Kram für die Drachenlehrerin auf und seh ma’, was sie sagt?
Ich hoff, sie mag es, weil ich glaub, dass ich auf der richtigen Spur bin, und außerdem, nach diesen ganzen Horrorfernsehen-Reality-Mordfilmen sollte ich ‘n paar gute Noten krieg’n.
All dieses Sitz’n und Stink’n und Fernseh’n is’ anstrengend -
